About the Author

Jonathan A. Kost, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist whose 30-year career has been devoted to helping patients living with complex chronic pain conditions. His work has placed particular focus on hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders—conditions that are frequently misunderstood and underdiagnosed.

After completing fellowship training in Pain Management at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Dr. Kost went on to found and lead several multidisciplinary pain centers across Connecticut, including CARF-accredited programs and the state’s only EDS-certified pain management center. He has also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at both the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter School of Medicine, while contributing to healthcare policy and advisory boards across the state.

As Founder and CEO of Digital360Health, Dr. Kost continues to explore the future of medicine through digital health innovation, pharmacogenetics, remote monitoring, and data-driven care.

Driven by a deep commitment to the EDS community, Dr. Kost is a passionate advocate for earlier recognition and better treatment of hEDS. His book, The Hypermobile EDS Survival Handbook, reflects this mission—offering guidance, validation, and hope to patients who often struggle to find answers.
